RC-SEC-EN — User manual

RC-SEC-EN is the GeoStru software for the design and verification of reinforced concrete sections according to EN 1992-1-1 (EC2) and EN 1998-1 (EC8) and their national annexes. It runs as a standalone application alongside a standard static or seismic analysis, for sections belonging to beams, columns and walls (with ductility class DCL, DCM or DCH).

It performs:

• ULS — uniaxial/biaxial bending with or without axial force (with N-Mx, Mx-My, N-Mx-My interaction domains), shear and torsion, and instability by the nominal-curvature method, including automatic design of longitudinal and transverse reinforcement.
• SLS — limitation of normal stresses, crack widths and deflections.
• Ductility — direct check of the curvature ductility factor μΦ.

Section types: predefined (rectangular, T, L, flanged), general (free polygonal/circular shapes), rectangular columns, walls and polygonal sections in torsion.
